Objectives

1. To replace the manual office system of local administration office to computer-based systems to ensure speedy service delivery to citizens;
2. To develop institutional systems to ensure participation and transparency of local community at union and district councils levels;
3. To provide a Central platform and website for local development organizations in Hunza valley;
4. To save the time and income of the community;
5. To introduce the community to the modern technological era;

To develop a replicable model of E-governance for large scale implementation at Northern Areas level, Service delivery through Information system will be in the areas mentioned above. These areas will be initially access the existing situation of each segment. Then on the basis of the findings in particular will focus the existing situation of society in general and economic status, challenges and future opportunities. These areas will be address using the current telecommunication opportunities in general and Internet in particular. The Internet telecommunication tool will boost in accessing the remote communities towards managing and improving the socio-economic conditions of the region.
